“Every Night” video by LVCRFT

The video opens with two people inside a Spirit Halloween store, banging on the door to be let out. When nobody comes to their rescue, they return to the store only to be greeted by scary animatronics who seem to have come to life and are ready for a dance party. With lyrics like “Lay me down in Egyptian cotton/Give me chills like a haunted mansion/Till you came/I was only half alive/Take me down, put me six feet under/When you strike I can feel your thunder/I’m possessed lookin’ in your killer eyes,” LVCRFT’s latest it’s the perfect new Halloween dance hit all about the supernatural.

You’ll see some familiar faces in the “Every Night” video, filmed on location at Spirit Halloween, including our very own Wacky Mole animatronic. The video, directed by Mitchell V. Slan and produced by Blind Salamander, stars Jake Killer, Slay Heart, and Olivia Demon Spawn, with entertainer Cory Graves as the headphone-wearing LVCRFT Skeleton Reaper.

The collaboration between the Halloween and horror-obsessed group, which is comprised of hitmakers who’ve worked with A-list artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Katy Perry, Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, and Lizzo, was a perfect match for the two brands. “Spirit Halloween and LVCRFT share the same [twisted] passion for all things Halloween, so welcoming them to our store to shoot this video was a no-brainer,” said Drew Griffiths, senior director of marketing at Spirit Halloween, in a statement. “Our fans know they can expect an experience like never before when entering one of our stores during the Halloween season, but the new ‘Every Night’ music video gives them a glimpse of Spirit Halloween that will certainly haunt their dreams.”

“We could not think of a more iconic Halloween location for our first ever music video,” said Evan Bogart, aka Lil Punkin. “Our partnership with Spirit Halloween is a scary good collab, so we had to go all out when creating the video for ‘Every Night,’ and our scary talented team rose from the grave to give a killer performance.”

The Halloween music devotees in LVCRFT have worked with many of the biggest acts in music, including those mentioned above as well as Kylie Minogue, Sean Paul, Santigold, Jennifer Lopez, Scissors Sisters, Jason Derulo, Luis Derulo, Luis Fonsi, Charli XCX and more. They released their first album, This Is Halloween Volume 1, in October 2019. The talented group uses Halloween-themed alter egos, and was formed by Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Lil Punkin), who’s crafted hit songs such as the Grammy-winning “Halo” by Beyoncé, electropop artist and songwriter Amanda “MNDR” Warner (DeepKutz), and Grammy-winning record producer Pete Wade (Norman Crates). Also part of the group are Scott Hoffman (Ghost M’lone), who goes by the stage name Babydaddy, recording artist Sarah Barrios (Scary Ana Grande), R&B artist Romell (DejaVudu) and veteran music producer Justin Gray (Count Trackula). The group has previously remade Andrew Gold’s “Spooky Scary Skeletons” into a catchy Halloween ditty. Learn more about the members of LVCRFT here and find your local Spirit Halloween store here.
